Meet our new dentist Alex who has joined Crown Cottage Dental as a general dentist!

Since qualifying from Cardiff University in 2023, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a busy mixed NHS and private practice, where I gained hands-on experience in all areas of general dentistry.

I also spent time at Morriston Hospital, where I further developed my skills in oral surgery and managing complex cases involving facial and dental trauma — an experience that really pushed and expanded my clinical abilities.

I’ve always enjoyed the variety that general dentistry offers — from restoring smiles to helping nervous patients feel at ease — and I’m passionate about delivering kind, high-quality, and patient-focused care.

Outside of dentistry, I try to keep life just as full! I compete in half Ironman triathlons, love getting out on the bike whenever I can, and play water polo to keep things interesting (and challenging!).

When I’m not training or working, I’ll likely be in the kitchen — cooking and baking are my go-to ways to unwind.

I’m really looking forward to getting to know my patients at Crown Cottage Dental and becoming a part of the local community. If you’re visiting the practice soon, I’ll see you there!
